i have a sears lawn tractor model 917272050 with a kohler 16hp engine.the governor bolt came loose and now the engine over revs.how do i adjust the governor shaft lever

I can not answer specific detailed questions pertaining to individual engines, without a proper engine model number and serial number. Kohler manufactures many different 16hp engines.....Tom

You give me no information to access the correct way to explain how to fix your problem, and give me bad ratings? I ask for this information for a reason, with over a million engines in use and manufactured do you think we know everything of the top of our heads, or better yet that all engines are the same?
