Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): porter cable pressure washer, honda gcv160, pressure washer

I, my pressure washer is powered by a honda gcv160 5.5, I but it today its brand new, the engine never start with the air filter on place, when I took it off, it works perfectly. When I disconnect the hose that goes from air assembly to intake it works but not well at all. every thing inside the carb. looks ok(move nicely).

Hi Dan,

Given that the Pressure Washer is 'brand new' then I would suggest returning the machine to the store you purchased it at before you mess around too much with it.

I don't really understand why a new machine would better without the air hose properly connected. Something is wrong, but I would have to know more of the problem to answer your question.
