Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Wiring harness for kawasaki engine, murray riding lawnmower, kawasaki engine

Hello I just bought a murray riding lawnmower that used to have a b & S engine and the guy took the wiring harness from the kawasaki mower w/engine and tried to get the murrray running with a kawasaki engine (14hp) and the kawasaki wiring harness but won't start at all. what can be a solution.

Do you have spark?  Does the engine have an anti-backfire solenoid on the carburetor?
