Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): air filter on briggs lawnmower, question pool, lawnmower

is there any trouble with air filter not keeping dust from  getting into motor? i have a 48in.mower with a briggs engine it is a 2007 mower.

Sorry for the Delay. This Question was Located in the Question Pool. Dust is Highly Abrasive. Dust Will Eat a Set of Rings Out of an Engine is a Short Time and Cause the Engine to Burn Oil and Eventually Not have Enough Compression to Run Properly.
