Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): briggs & Stratton to Honda, briggs stratton, spec numbers

have a 2003 Snapper rear engine mower 10 HP Biiggs & Stratton. Motor blew up! I am replacing it with a Honda 13 HP motor. Any help on the carb linkage hook up. Its a bit different but on the same side and location. Mower shop said it could be done but not much help, Where i purchased the honda they said this is done all the time.
