Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Blades run all the time., brake disc, engine model

Question
I have a 1998 yard-machine 42in cut with 14.5 B&S engine. Model #13AM675G062 Serial #1A130B30208 My problem is the blades won't disingauge when you pull the lever to stop the blades from turning. Thanks in advance John.

This May be Caused by the Blade Brake Disc being Worn Out or the Belt is too Short or Routed Wrong. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Unit at this Site Addy, http://www.buymtdonline.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Home_YardMan_10101_19502_-... and Select the Shop Online Parts Look Up. Then Select the Model Tab. Then Select the OEM (MTD)  and Enter the Model Numbers (13AM675G062). Then Double Click on the Model in the Results Area. Now you can Select the Section of the Unit you Wish to View.  Select the Deck Assembly File. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance.
