Answer
Hello Joe:

A Certain Amount of Crankcase Pressure is Normal. If you Remove the Dip Stick, you Should have Oil Spattering and Crankcase Pressure Loss. Do No Operate the Engine with the Dip Stick Out. There is a Crankcase Breather that Regulates the Amount of Crankcase Pressure the Engine has. If this Breather Stops Operating Properly, then the Engine will Smoke, Usually from Oil Sucked Into the Carburetor through the Breather Tube. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
