Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Toro Trimmer throttle spring, screw hole, question thanks

QUESTION: I have a toro trimmer 51970A.  I am attempting to replace the throttle cable.  In doing so, a spring shot out of the handle and I don't know where the spring is supposed to go.  I looked at the diagrams that toro has but they were not helpful.

ANSWER: Hello Paul:

The Spring is Supposed to Push the Trigger Itself Back when it is Pulled with your Finger. One End of the Spring has a Seat/Catch in the Plastic Trigger Housing and a Seat/Catch on the Trigger Itself. Handle   QUESTION: Thanks for the response.  I need a little more information.  I attached a picture of the handle.  Could you be more specific as to where the long and short end of the spring goes.  Does it involve the screw hole that the trigger uses to hold it in place.  Any further description is greatly appreciated.

ANSWER: Hello Paul:

You are Correct. Usually the Spring is Held in Place by the Trigger Screw and the Long Section of the Spring Usually is the Section that Pushes the Trigger and Pulls the Cable Back. I am Trying to Locate a Toro Trimmer in the Shop to See if I can Get some Good Pictures of the Trigger Spring while it is in the Housing as Designed. As Soon as I Locate the Trimmer, I will Follow Up with Pictures. Thanks.

My Daughter has Taken Several Pictures and None of them Show the Internal Spring. All the Pictures Show is the Trigger Housing. She is Trying some Different Approaches and Hopefully I can Send you a Picture Later in the Day. Thanks for your Patience.
