Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawnmower, spec numbers, model numbers

Question
QUESTION: I have a craftsman GT 22 1/2 HP V-Twin Kohler.When blades are engaged
it misses on one cylinder.I Replaced coil on that side, and the other
side started misfiring. There is one coil for each cylinder, replaced both
spark plugs. can you help?

ANSWER: Hello Michael:

Send me the Model and Type or Spec Numbers Off the Engine or the Mower Model Numbers, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. The Engine Model Numbers May be Stamped Into the Blower Housing (metal engine cover) Above the Spark Plug. From your Description, this Sounds like a Carburetor, Intake  or Valve Problem. Thanks.

Answer
Hello Again Michael:

Sorry for the Delay. I am Trying to Recreate this Problem in the Shop. Usually the Coil or Bad Lifter is the Cause of this Type of Problem, but Rarely Shifts from One Cylinder to the Other when the COil is Replaced. I Hope to have Results by the End of Tomorrow (5/12/08). Thanks for being Patient.
