Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): crankshaft replacement, image feature, rectangular piece

Question
Hi John,
I picked up a go cart with a Tecumseh OHH60-7133D 6HP engine.  The bolt that holds the clutch on was sheared off inside the crankshaft and I snapped off my e-z out in there trying to remove it.  After discovering that trying to drill into the e-z out was not possible I decided to go ahead and remove the crankshaft to replace it.  Long story short...after I got everything pulled apart and was sweeping up I found a piece that looks like it probably fell out of the engine but I cannot determine what it is.  It is basically a rectangular piece of metal 3/4"x 1/8" 3/16" with a notch in one end that is about 5/32" long and 1/8" deep. Any ideas?  I was not able to find a parts manual online for this engine but I found one that was close.  I didn't see anything that looked like this part but it is pretty small and the .pdf's don't show detail that well on these smaller pieces.  FYI, this is my first time really getting into the guts of an engine.  Thanks for your insight.

Answer
Hello Mike:

The Model Number of this Engine is OHH60-71133D. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Select the T. Then Select Tecumseh. Then Select Don't have Part Numbers. Then Enter the Model Numbers (OHH60-71133D). Then Select your Model and Download the File for Online Viewing. Can you Locate the Component in the Breakdown? If Not, then is it Possible for you to Send me a Picture of the Component Using the "Attach an Image" Feature? I'm Not Really Following your Description. It Sounds like the Governor Shaft, but I Really would Prefer to See the Component. Thanks.

John
