Answer
Hello Tom:

To View a Breakdown of this Unit Go to this Site Addy, http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action and Enter the Model Numbers and Click Search. From this Page you can View Diagrams or Parts Lists for you Equipment. Select the Motion Drive File. Once this Page is Up, Scroll to the Breakdown Picture and  Select Zoom in and Get the Breakdown Picture Large Enough to View Properly. Check the Transaxle Mounting Bolts and the Frame. Make Sure the Bolts are Tight and the Frame is Not Broken.  Usually the Loss of Shifter Travel is Either the Transaxle Mounting Bolts being Loose, the Frame Broken or the Linkage is Worn. The Clutch Idler Adjustment is on the Clutch Rod at the Pedal Linkage. This is Shown as #17 in the Breakdown. There is an Adjusting Nut fot the Shifter Also. It is Listed as # 48 in the Breakdown. Make Sure the Shifter Linkage is Not Worn, Causing the Shifter to have Less Motion. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
