I have a mtd riding mower model 13aq695h120 with 19.5 b/s engine model 42a707. I have a hydrogear transmission 718-0255a. I lose forward movement after using the machine for awhile. I do have some hills that I mow. Any help would be greatfull. Also I would like to find a wiring print for the mtd mower

Answer
Hello Dan:

You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Unit at this Site Addy, http://www.smallenginepartswarehouse.com/parts.asp and Select the Shop Online Parts Look Up. Then Select the Model Tab. Then Select the OEM (MTD) and Enter the Model Numbers (13AQ695H120). Then Double Click on the Model in the Results Area. Now you can Select the Section of the Unit you Wish to View. Is the Drive Belt a New Belt? If Not, then the Belt May be the Cause of this Problem. Is the Transaxle Clean? The Cooler the Transaxle Runs, the Better Viscosity the Fluid has. Is the Cooling Fan Blades Clean and the Fan Turning Properly? If Not, then Check the Fan and Pulley Nut. Make Sure it is Tight and the Fan is Not Slipping on the Pulley. I have One of these and the Drive Belt is Usually the Cause of this Problem. Try Some Belt Dressing on the Belt and See if the Transaxle Pulls Better and Longer. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
