Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Yard Machine rear wheel removal?, cotter pins, center bolt

Question
I am working on a friend's Yard machine lawn tractor...I'm not sure of the year however the model is a 13AM675G062 14.5 hp 42 in blade swath. The rear tire needs to be replaced.
I have found the tire for sale at Wal Mart..but..I'm not sure how to remove  the rear wheel to take it in for replacement. The wheel has two holes 180deg apart...they seem to be holes for a puller of some sort...The end of the shaft that is visible at the end of the shaft is shaped like a a circle with the two opposite sides ground down parrallel. In the center of the end of the shaft (visible in the center of the wheel) is a threaded hole...There are no cotter pins or etc.....help please Thanks

Answer
Hello Kelly:

The Rim is Designed to Fit the Axle and there should be a Center Bolt in the Axle that Keeps the Rim from Sliding Off the Axle. The Axle has Rust between it and the Rim. You can Use a Puller and Most Likely you will Require Heat Also. Tighten the Puller and then Hit the Puller to Jar the Rim and Axle. Use Plenty of Penetrating Oil Also. I Use PB Rust Catalyst. Once the Rim is Removed from the Axle; Clean Both the Axle and Rim of Rust and Apply a Light Coating of Never Seize to the Axle to Prevent the Rust Build Up. This Makes Removing the Rim from the Axle in the Future Easier. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
