Generator DeVilbess 5250-1 , engine tecumseh Hm100, spec
159409P. is there a kit to do this.

Answer
Hello Earl:

They Offer a 110/120VAC Starter for this Engine. On Some of these Tecumseh Engines, you can Change the Flywheel to a Flywheel with a Starter Ring and Install a 12VDC Starter where the 110/120VAC Starter Mounts. There is No Kit for Doing this. The Starter and Flywheel has to be Ordered Seperately. Your Local Small Engine Service Center should be Able to Assist you in Locating the Proper Part Numbers. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Select the T. Then Select Tecumseh. Then Select Don't have Part Numbers. Then Enter the Model Numbers (HM100-159409P). Then Select your Model and Download the File for Online Viewing. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
