Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Poulan 2150 chain saw fuel line replacement, model planes, arinet

Question
QUESTION: The fuel lines in my chain saw became brittle and broke.  I can see the attaching points, but am uncertain as to how to hook up new fuel lines because the old fuel lines were in pieces.  There seems to be an extra attachment fitting on the carburetor  and I don't see where the fuel line for that fitting comes from.  There looks to be two sizes of line.  Is there a diagram somewhere to show me how to hook up new fuel line?  Can I get the fuel lines I need locally at an auto parts store or small engine repair shop?

ANSWER: Hello Don:

The Fuel Line Should be Avaliable from an Automotive Parts Retailer or from your Local Small Engine Service Center. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Chainsaw at this Site Addy, http://hayward.arinet.com/scripts/EmpartISAPI.dll?MF&app=ASP&lang=EN&TF=Mainfram and Select the Catalog Poulan/Weed Eater. Then Select Poulan. Then Select Gas. Then Select Saw. Then Scroll Down to your Model Saw. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

QUESTION: Thank you for your reply, John.  I had found the manual with the carburator breakdown, but it doesn't show me what I need to know to replace the fuel lines.  I can see that there are two sizes of fuel lines and I have pieces of each one.  There is a hobby shop nearby that sells small engines for model planes and boats where I think I can get new fuel lines.  I can see how to run the line from the fitting that goes to the fuel tank to the little primer bulb.  I can also see where to connect the fuel line from the primer bulb to the carburator.  There is another fitting on the carburator that had a fuel line attached to it, but given the condition of the old fuel line (in pieces) I cannot see what the other end of this fuel line is attached to.  This is my problem.  Do you know where this second fuel line is attached on the other end from the carburator?

Thanks for any help you may be able to give me.  Don

Answer
Hello Again Don:

This is a Return Line to the Gas Tank. There should be Another Fitting on the Rank for a Return Fuel Line.
