Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snow thrower electric start, snow thrower, tecumseh engine

Question
My snow thrower will not start with the electric start, however it starts right up with the pull cord.  When I push the electric start button I hear a click but nothing else happens.  What could be wrong with the electric start?
My snow thrower is a TroyBilt 5.5hp Storm 5524 model#31AS6BN2711 with a Tecumseh engine model#LH195SP.  Thank you for your help!

Answer
Hello Beverly:

This is a 110V Electric Starter. Most Likely the Brushes in the Motor Require Replacing. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Select the T. Then Select Tecumseh. Then Select Don't have Part Numbers. Then Enter the Model Numbers. Then Select your Model and Download the File for Online Viewing. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
