Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snapper LT16002 Lawn Tractor Snow Thrower, gear box assembly, shear pins

Question
I bought this tractor used with a 42" deck and a 36" two stage snow thrower. My problem concerns the snow thrower. Previous owner had bolts instead of shear pins resulting in gear box by the augers getting stripped. I cannot even find a listing for a snow thrower attachment for this tractor much less any parts. Tag on left side of snow thrower has Serial No. 43162143 and Model 83699. Also I'm not sure how to take out the augers and center gear box assembly. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Answer
Hello Jim:

You can View a Breakdown of the Mower at this Site Addy; http://www.snapper.com/ and Select Publications in the Upper Right Corner. Now Select your Model (LT16002) from the Model Number Select Menu in the New Screen and then Click Search. You want to Download the Manual # 06614 and then Go to Page 40 of 52. This has the Breakdown for the Snow Thrower. The Breakdown should Assist you in Disassembling the Snow Thrower for Repairs. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
