Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): spirit snoking throws drive chain, tecumseh engine, sprocket teeth

my spirit snoking model 627804x79 serial s001992760938 w tecumseh engine throws the drive chain, cannot adjust tension on chain, tried a half link but no luck, do i need new sprockets, alignment of sprockets looks ok.

Would this be a 627804X79B Model by Chance? Go to this Site Addy, http://www.smallenginepartswarehouse.com/parts.asp and Select Shop Online Parts Look Up. Then Select the Model Tab. Then Select the OEM (Murray) and Enter the Model Numbers (627804X79B). Then Double Click on your Model in the Results Area. Then Select the Section of the Mower you Wish to View. Check for Play in the Wheel Axle Bear Flange Bearings. Block the Unit Up and Make Sure you have it Safe to Operate the Wheels by Hand. Rotate the Wheels and Watch the Chain. Does the Chain Ride Up on the Sprocket Teeth? If Yes, then Replace the Chain Due to Stretch. Are the Teeth on the Sprockets Sharp? If Yes, then you May have to Replace the Sprockets.
