Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): DRIVE BELT ADJUSTMENT?, tension spring, model numbers

Question
Hello, I have a John Deere GX75 riding lawnmower. the problem I am having is that the belt slips when going up a slight incline or even when my bagger gets full. I've recently replaced the belt with a factory deere belt and also cleaned off the pulleys and it didnt seem to help much. Is there an adjustment i can make to the belt??
Thanks in advance for your help
Matt

Answer
Hello Matt:

Has the Tension Spring (PN M94014) that Applies Tension to the Belt? If this Spring is Weak, you will have the Problem you Described. I Do Not Know of Any Belt Adjustment on this Mower. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine and Mower at this Site Addy, http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H... and Enter the Model Numbers and Click Find. Then Select the Sectional File. Then Select the Section of the Mower you Wish to View Online. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
