Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Battery Start for Generator, spec numbers, electric starter

Question
QUESTION: I recently purchased a Powermate 5700w Generator (Yamaha MZ300 engine).

It is a pull start I am looking to possibly add an battery/electric start. It appears that wires and harness may be in place to take advantage of this option. However I cannot find information. Could you help point me in the right direction.

Thank You,

John

Answer
Hello Again John:

If the Engine Block has the Mounting Holes for an Electric Starter, then Contact Yamaha at 800-962-7926 and Give them the Information you Gave me. They can Locate the Part Numbers for the Flywheel and Starter Required to Install the Electric Starter on this Engine. I Can Not Locate the Information in my Microfiche or Online. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.
