Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Fuel pressure, gravity fed, float valve

Question
The engine in my John Deere Gator is toast so I aquired a replacement off shore 13 hp sinle cylinder engine. The original fuel was supplied by a vacum pulse pump, the new engine was designed to be gravity fed but the gator fuel tank is below the engine so I would like to fit an electric pump, the problem is I don't know what fuel pressure i should supply to the engine, I don't what sort of pressure the float valve will take.

Answer
Hello Horst:

You can Use a 3 to 5 PSI Pulse Pump or I use a 4 to 7 PSi Pulse Pump from Advance Auto. They Cost $42.00. Any More Pressure and the Carburetor Needle Valve and Float will Not Operate Properly. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
