Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): finding the engine i have, bottom plate, sparkplug

I would like to know what engine i own.It is a flat head 2 cycle with wings with a D in the middle stamped in the bottom plate. There is an aluminum tab attrched with the date 6/30/71 and numbers 1506A / 6589441

I have Seen the Emblem you Described, but is has been a While Ago; so I Contacted my Father and Brother About the OEM. They will Contact me as Soon as they Get the Message (they are on Vacation). Can you Locate Any Numbers on the Blower Housing (Metal Engine Cover) of the Engine? They are Usually Stamped Into the Housing above the Sparkplug or the Muffler. They May be Painted Over and you May need to Remove the Paint to See them. Can you attach a Picture of the Engine? Thanks.
