Hi ive got an older yardman snowblower that i can get to run fine, is there anyway you can give me how to adjust the carb on this engin model #is 222413-06581,
ive played with all the adjustments, at first it was flooding, now it runs but erratically, i constantly need to play with adjstment to run the engin , at some point it will run fine but when i get into asnow bank and start to blow it just starts to die but at idle it will run ok can you help me??? tks in advance and merry christmas

It sounds to me you should check the following:
Is the fuel reaching the carb okay.  Is the line kinked or detached or etc...
Remove the spark & check the gap is correctly set. Clean electrode use a fine file to square the edges so that their sharp.
Is the plug fouled? Does it need replacement?
If you need to do an overhaul of the carb, [as long as the adjustments are fine] I would take the carb off the engine. Clean the bowl. Careful using too harsh chemicals since they can damage rubber seals/gaskets around the carb.
Also Check the choke & throttle controls to ensure they are not allowing the valves to move during operation. Check the crankcase reed valve , beside the carb, see if it is stuck or clogged.
If the crankcase is not airtight the engine may lack power.
Lastly, if the piston rings are worn or the cylinder damaged the power can be reduced.
