Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Murray SnowThrower G2914010, murray snowthrower, snow thrower

Question
I have a Murrray 2 stage snow thrower  that won't throw the snow as of last nite.
It drives fine the Augers both spin but the IMPELLER dosn't seem to be spining  it
was picking up 3 inches of wet slush last nite. It started out working fine, I
thought it was a bit nosier and maybe smelled a bit.  When its not running I can
spin the impeller, is that right?  It seems to spin when engaged but will definetly
not throw snow.  Could it just be a belt? or a shear pin?

Answer
Hello Bob:

It Sounds Like you have Sheared the Impeller Key. The Noise is Most Likely the Impeller Grinding Against the Impeller Drive. Send me the Model Numbers Off the Snow Thrower, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. The Numbers Should be Similar to this Example. 123456X12X. Thanks.
