Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Kubota Generator, occasional power, male connector

Question
I bought a 5000w Kubota generator 21 years ago for occasional power outages at home. It came equipped with a 4 prong 30 amp 120/240 female plug with the ground prong bent out at 90 degrees. The male plug connects to a transfer switch that feeds into my circuit breaker panel. I'm looking to replace the generator but they all seem to have the ground prong bent in at 90 degrees. Is there a converter available or do I have to call an electrician? Thank you very much John.

Answer
Hello Bob:

I Do Not Believe you will Locate a Outward Ground Leg Anymore. All I have Seen on Generators for the Past 10 Years is the Inward Ground or the L Ground. I Suggest you Purchase the Generator you Prefer and have an Electrician Change the Male Connector to Match the Generator Outlet. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Have a Happy Holiday Season and May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
