Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda Engine on Pressure washer, using your digital camera, honda engine

Question
I have a xcell pressure washer Model XR2600, with a Honda XC 160 5.0 HP engine. I haven't used it in 5 months and when I went to use it first the Hose broke under the pump, which I fixed. I also changed the oil. It then started right up but as soon as I let go of the trigger it would stall out. I changed the spark plug but it still is doing this. There is a small slit in the rubber that is on the spark plug tubing.  I also have a new air filter in this. I was thinking it was maybe the gas. Or the carb. However I am not sure if it can be adjusted or maybe cleaned out. I also have no idea where the carb or the idle is on this model. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
You are correct as far as starting with the carb.  Most likely there are no carb ajustments so you will have to remove, dis-assemble and clean the carburetor with compressed air and carburetor cleaner.  The carb is located under/near the air filter.  I would recommend using your digital camera to take pictures of the parts before and during cleaning the carb...this can make putting it back together much eaiser.

Let me know if this helps.
