Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): champion generator, generator power, happy holiday

I have found a champion generator (power plant) and it has a 6.5 hp champion engine. Who makes this engine and is it any good. Thank you

My Information on the Champion Generators and Compressors is that the Engines are an In House Engine. I have a Generator and an Air Compressor by Champion. They Both have Provided Good Service and I have had Little to No Problems from the Units.
