Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): No spark 8 hp. tecumseh, air gap, safety switches

I get no spark. Ignition is breaker point magneto. Installed a short block in 2001, part #752292a. This is on a Toro rider #56127. What can I check? And how?

Have you checked to make sure the air gap is set right. Now check to make sure that the ignition is not grounded. There is a wire from the magneto that go to a switch so that when you turn the key off or throttle down to the off position, also check to make sure that all safety switches are not hooked up to prevent a start
