Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Purge line, craftsman leaf blower, fuel tank

I am replacing the two fuel lines that run from my Craftsman leaf blower.  Is it important to have the purge line a certain length into the fuel tank?  I did not keep the broken original lines.  Thanks for any help.

Hello Tom:

The Returne Line is Usually Set 1/4" Into the Tank. As Long as the Line is Not Kinked, you Should be Fine. Go to this Site Addy, http://www3.sears.com/ and Enter the Model Numbers in the Upper Left Search Box and Click Go. Then Visually Verify the Equipment and Click Continue. From this Page you can View Diagrams or Parts Lists for you Equipment. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps.
