Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Onan Charging System, hp engine, hello bill

Question
I have a Onan 24 HP engine Model P224G-I/10966G, S/N E953381453 that is not charging. I've checked the Diodes in the rectifier and they seem to be bad. I've also checked the voltage from the stator and it seems to be very high, about 48V. I want to confirm what the voltage should be before I spend money on a new rectifier & possibly burn that one up also. Also if the voltage is high what do I do now. Your advice will be greatly appreciated
Bill

The Voltage is Correct. Replace the Rctifier/Regulator. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.
