Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Leaf Blower, craftsman leaf blower, starter fluid

Craftsman Leaf Blower Model 358.797342 I have read your responses to others with this unit and so far nothing has helped, in other words: Exaust and muffler are clear, have good spark, useing fresh fuel etc. Have tried starter fluid and unit starts briefly and then dies? Only have a few hours on this and it ran fine up to when I shut it down last year by running it out of fuel. Is no longer on Warranty. Any more ideas? HELP!

You just may have to buy a carburetor for this blower,Sometimes rebuilding them is not enough and time consuming. You definitely have a fuel flow problem. Check the primer bulb as well the new carb # is 530071632 and sears sells them for $29.68 we sell them for $20.00
