Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): rank bearings for a kawasaki 23hp, crankshaft bearings, 4 stroke engines
Question Sorry John, I forgot to put in all the info you need, so here goes: Kawasaki model FH 680V-CS01-ZZ
S/N FH 680V-B05734
This pertains to my previous question. I am in the process of overhauling a Kawasaki 23hp vertical shaft engine, buthave been unable to locate crankshaft bearings/bushings for this engine. Any ideas? Thanks Bill
AnswerHello Again Bill:
LOL. I Just Asked for this Information in your Last E-Mail. Thanks. The Engine Sump (Oil Pan) and Cylinder Block are a Machined Fit for the Crankshaft to Fit and Use Oil from the Crankcase to Lubricate the Crankshaft like the Bearings in an Automotive Engine. There are No Bearings/Bushings to Replace. You can View a Breakdown of the Engine at this Site Addy; http://www.buykawpower.com/kmcb2c/main.jsp and Select View Parts Catalog. Then Select 4 Stroke Engines. Then Select Page 2 of the Engine Listings. Then Select the FH 680V-SO1 File. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.
Good Luck
