Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): craftsman snoblower 536.884810, craftsman snowblower, discharge chute

Question
I have a craftsman snowblower that i bought without an engine.  I installed a new engine and thought that i checked for the proper engine rotation before doing so.  When looking at the front of the engine it rotates counter clockwise.  The discharge chute seems to rotate in the correct direction, but the blower goes forward in reverse and reverse in forward.  Do you know the proper engine rotation for this machine or is there another possible problem here.  It is model number 536.884810

Thanks

Answer
Hello Micah:

Is the Auger Turning the Correct Rotation? Are the Drive Belts Installed Correctly? According to the Information I have Located, you have the Correct Rotation Engine on the Blower. Go to this Site Addy, http://www3.sears.com/ and Enter the Model Numbers in the Upper Left Search Box and Click Go. Then Visually Verify the Equipment and Click Continue. From this Page you can View Diagrams or Parts Lists for you Equipment. Thanks.
