Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Compression, ryobi 31cc, brush cutter

Question
I have a Toro "Brush Cutter" string trimmer, model #51908. It has a Ryobi 31cc engine. Engine serial #4031 UB24RA.  Do you know how much compression this engine should have when new? I checked mine and found with 3 strong rope pulls, I had 90 lbs. Any info would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Answer
Hello Webb:

I have Seen New Engines that had Between 125psi and 90psi. Usually the Compression will Increase as the Rings Seat In and Create a Better Seat. After About 4 to 6 hours of Run Time the Compression Should Settle at 120 to 130psi. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
