Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Hydro Gear Transaxle #314-0510 repair, internal component, transaxle

Question
Can this transaxle be repaired economically or is it lost once it locks up? I would appreciate your advice. My mechanic friends think it might be an easy repair. I think it is a throw a way.

I'm a Mechanic and Believe the Repair May be a Simple One if a Major Internal Component is Not Broken. I Suggest you, Remove the Hydro from the Mower and Inspect the Hydro. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Select the H. Then Select Hydro-Gear. Then Select Don't have Part Numbers. Then Enter the Model Numbers. Then Select your Model and Download the File for Online Viewing. You can Also Purchase the Required Parts from this Site.
