Answer
Hello Mike:

The Small Pulleys are Designed to Tighten and Loosen the Belt for the Gear Box. On Some Models the 2 Smaller Pullers are Attached to a Pivot that Pivots One Way for Forward and the Other Way for Reverse. If the Gear Box is Not Disengaging, then the Belt May be to Short or the Pivot is Not Allowing the Idler Pulleys to Release the Belt Properly. The Gear Box is Put Into Gear Before you Engage the Belt to Operate the Gear Box. Allis Chamler is Manufactured by Simplicity. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem, then I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
