Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snapper brake/clutch switch adjust?, select publications, numbers section

Question
snapper riding mower, model wlt160h42gbv, serial# 11498391, 42", 16HP briggs.  How is the brake/clutch switch adjusted on this unit?    it's getting very hard to make switch.  the switch operates good w/ hand and is good shape.    the striker needs about 1/4" more travel.    thanks for your time.

Answer
Hello Randy:

You can View a Breakdown of the Mower at this Site Addy; http://www.snapper.com/ and Select Publications in the Upper Right Corner. Then Select the Model Numbers from the List Provided Under the Mosel Numbers Section of the New Window. Then Select the Manual Number 7006447. I Do Not Recall an Adjustment for the Brake/Clutch Switch on this Mower. Check for Worn Bushings and Linkage that May be Causing the Switch Not to Engage. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
