QuestionQUESTION: I have been given a slightly used power washer with a Honda GC160 engine. The engine was starved for oil and I need to replace the piston and rings. The info I have found indicates that the piston has two choices for the ring set. How can I determine which set I will need with the new piston I will have to install?

I Suggest you Purchase a Service Manual for the Engine. It has the Directions for All the Maintenance and Repairs you May ever Perform on the Mower. Anytime I Do Internal Work on a Honda, I have the Service Manual for the Engine on the Work Bench with Me. I have Inquired Into Making Copies of the Instructions from my Manual and have Found that I am Unable to Do this Without Breaking Copy Right Laws. Hope this Helps.
