Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Tuff Torq model K66c, transaxle, garden tractor

Question
QUESTION: Hello, I have a Scott's model 2554 garden tractor with a tuff torq transaxle model K66C. The brakes will not work and the trans will not hold the mower in park, it is like you have the trans lever pull into nuetral all the time. I called Tuff Torq but they cant help and wouldn't let me talk to a tech. This mower was built in 2002. Any help will be great.
Thank You

ANSWER: Hello Randall:

Remove the Brake and Transaxle Control Linkage. If the Transaxle Is in Park with the Linkage Removed, then the Linkage Requires Adjusting. If the Transaxle is Not in Park and the Brake Set, then the Transaxle Requires Internal Adjusting. **Per our Phone Conversation.** Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
