QUESTION: hi John, i was just thinking, is there any way i could possible measure for a belt? and if so would it be a v-belt that actually looks like a "v" with little like teeth kinda on the inside? sorry i dont really know how to explain. Thanks

Answer
Hi Adam:

You can Use a Short Rope and Follow the Same Route as the Belt Should Follow on the Pulleys. This will Give you the Inside Belt Length. You can Purchase Either the Ribbed Belt (has the teeth) or a Smo0th Belt (V-belt with No Ribs). The Ribbed Belt is very Good for Applications where the Belt Makes Sharp Turns Back Towards Itself. The MTD Technician has had No Luck Locating Information on this Tiller. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
