Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): JOHN DEERE GS-30 CLUTCH, electric clutch, pto units

Question
THE GS30 HAS AN ELECTRIC CLUTCH THAT POWERS THE BELTS FOR THE BLADES. I REPLACED THE CLUTCH, HAVE POWER TO THE CLUTCH, BUT IT STILL WON'T ENGAGE. ANY IDEAS?

Answer
Hello Mike:

Sorry for the Delay. This Question was Located in the Question Pool. Check the Ground Wire for the PTO Clutch. The Ground Not Making Contact is a Common Problem with the PTO Units on Most Mowers. Clean the Ground Connection. Since this is a New PTO and the Harness has Power to the PTO, then the Ground is the Cause of your Problem. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
