Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Electric Mower loses power, mulching mower, model numbers

Question
Hi John,
I have a Craftsman 120V Convertible Mulching Mower (model 900.370510), which is electric but not cordless.  We've had this for about 3 years now, and the past few months it's been acting up.  After a few minutes of usage, it gets REALLY slow like it's losing power.  It never completely stops on its own because I slow down my pace (to a crawl) or stop it myself, but it's definitely not running at 100%.  Do you have any ideas on why this would happen?

Answer
Hello Allen:

From your Description, it Sounds like the Bushings (bearings) and Brushes Require Replacing. Either have the Electric Motor Repaired or Replaced. Go to this Site Addy, http://www3.sears.com/ and Enter the Model Numbers in the Upper Left Search Box and Click Go. Then Visually Verify the Equipment and Click Continue. From this Page you can View Diagrams or Parts Lists for you Equipment. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck

Respectfully

John
