Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Weed Eater Ignition Switch, model numbers, solenoid

I need an ignition switch for my Weed Eater riding lawnmower PN 3497644.
Will a John Deere ignition switch 318 fit my Weed Eater?
The letters on my switch are A, Y , G, M, I, B, and S. What do they mean and where do they go?

Hello Donald:

I'm Not Sure About All the Markings. Send me the Model Numbers Off the Mower, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. However, the A is Alternator, the G is Ground, the B is Battery, the S is Solenoid (depending on Model this May be the Carburetor Solenoid Wire). The Model Numbers will Assist me to Assist you. Thanks.
