Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): lawn mower idle speed, model numbers, lawnmower

Hi I have a troy built 2 month old lawnmower bought from lowes. I was mowing one day and bumped not crashed into my deck but gently bumped the deck with the front of the mower. Their was no dent scratch or any indication of bumping something but as soon as I did, my idle speed slowed right down . It stills starts with out a problem and cont to run but the idle sped has remained the same. Any info would help. Thanks Dennis
