Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Signature 2000 Elite 14/42 Riding Lawn Mower Deck Belt To Tight, model numbers, lawn mower

Hello John... I have a Signature 2000 Elite riding lawn mower with a 14HP B&S and a 42" cutting deck. I pulled the deck off to put new blades on it and when I reinstalled it the belt is to tight when the blades are suppose to be disengaged and still spin as if they where engaged. Did I install it wrong or do I need to adjust something? I have been following this web site for at least six months and think it is a great servise to the AMERICAN people and others. Thanks In Advance!

Thanks for the Good Words. Send me the Model Numbers Off the Mower, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. If the Belt was Operating Properly before you Removed the Deck, then Yes the Belt is Routed Improperly. Thanks.
