Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawn Mower dies after a minute or two., horse power motor, new spark

Question
Ok, so I won't ask you about my lawn mower, how do you clean the fuel system and where is it located. It's a B & S horse power motor. I have put a new spark plug in it 3 times this season. It sounds like it's struggling for gas or air or something, I did clean the air filter. I am sort of handy so if you explain it I will get the necessary parts and fix it.

Answer
The carb is right behind the air cleaner.  It has the fuel line attached to it.  Buy a carb kit and remove the carb.  It will be obvious, if it's not you are in over your head.  When you get the carb off turn it over and take the bolt out of the bottom.  Pull the "bowl" off and clean everything with a good ozone killing carb cleaner. I recomend gumout.
