How do I remove the fuel tank from a b&S 6.5HP Self Propel Lawnmower mounted on a Murray Deck. Eng.No. is 274474, Serial N. YBSXS 1901-VE, 3 in 1 Combo Self Propel mower.

Pop the cosmetic cover off of the top. Then you will need to remove 3 screws in the top and one bolt on the carb side near the fuel line nipple.

By the way, Briggs will pay for this repair if the machine is less than 5 years old, assuming you sent in your warranty registration.
