Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 18HP TWIN KOHLER MAGNUM SHUTS OFF, brake safety, safety switch

Question
MY 18hp twin rider starts just fine, but when you engage clutch and let off to shift forward or backward, the mower shuts off.
Also when you engage the blades for cutting, same thing.
The seat safety switch is good and brake safety switch is good. Could there be a froze up pulley or stuck parking brake rod?

Answer
Hello Jason:

Check the Seat Safety Switch. The Seat Safety Switch will Kill the Engine Whenever the Clutch is Released or the Blades are Engaged. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
