Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftman #917.271641, transaxle, model numbers

Hydrogear # 171613   3220510. The mower runs and mows great, BUT the tranny seams to slip. I'll be going along and it will slow down then take off again. The motor runs the same speed . Any ideas?

It Sounds like the Fluid May be Low in the Transaxle. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Select the p. Then Select Hydrogear. Then Select To View Parts List Click Here. Enter the Hydro Model Numbers. Then Select the Transaxle File for your Transaxle. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance.
