hi,i need to replace the cutting deck on my scott's L1742, but i can't seem to find one. is there a part number on it? can you help me? it is a 42" cut

Your best Choice to Locate a Deck is to Contact Outdoor Distrubitors @ 1-877-707-2787 and Give them the Deck Part Numbers GY20599. Scotts is a John Deere Mower. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower at this Site Addy, http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H... and Enter the Model Numbers and Click Find.
